In a press release from this morning, Jaguar 2016 Land Rover North America announced that, for the second year in a row, Edmunds.com has recognized the 2016 F-TYPE as the most popular car in the Premium Luxury SUV category, based on car-shopper consideration from January through November 2015.
"Winning Most Popular on Edmunds.com vehicles awards is a great achievement and caps a wonderful 2015 in which both the Jaguar F-TYPE and Range Rover increased sales and market share,” said Jaguar Land Rover President and CEO, Joe Eberhardt. “These two vehicles define their respective brands and demonstrate Jaguar Land Rover's growing engineering and design leadership. We greatly appreciate this recognition from one of the most relied upon shopping and research outlets."
Upgraded for the 2016 model year, all R models include standard Instinctive AllWheel Drive. Furthermore, all F-TYPE models feature standard Electric Power Assisted Steering, which helps reduce drivetrain loss, and increase steering precision.
