A car's battery has several important key functions involved with day to day operation, as well as many creature comforts we tend to take for granted. Obviously, most importantly it has a key responsibility of cranking that baby to life several times a day. But- it also helps power many things you have come to not think about, such as the lights on your dash, the CD player in your car, the heated seats on that cold day, and the movie player that keeps your kiddos occupied on the long trip.
Think of your battery as a memory bank for power. It stores energy that your alternator creates as you drive. It then distributes the power when your car needs it. If your car's battery is not carrying the correct capacities needed for your particular car, you could be in for a rude awakening. It could be very beneficial for you if you considered replacing your battery for that added peace of mind.
